We all know and love the classic characters of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. So it comes to no surprise that they make another grand debut on the silver screen.
But the story and mystery that surrounds the dynamic duo will keep you guessing til the very last minute. By then you'll be begging for another mystery for them to unravel before your eyes.
This movie begins with Holmes (Downey Jr.) and Watson (Law) and their last case before Watson decides to he must grow up and break away from Holmes' chaotic, reckless, and unpredictable behavior. (Those who are familiar with the show HOUSE will understand this.) Blackwood (Strong), our antagonist, is arrested and sentenced to death. Case closed. Until Blackwood rises from the grave and causes the case to be reopened.
Holmes and Watson must try and solve this catastrophe. But can a man who relies all his detective skills on science and deductive reasoning, solve a mystery from the dead? Every riddle has an answer, it just might take a little longer to solve it.
